July 2025The view is nothing short of extraordinary!
We have been Third Home members since the beginning -- the NC mountains being our fav place to go -- and never have we had the view of Whiteside Mountain that greeted us when we walked in. Moreover, the housekeepers must have worked for Ritz-Carlton because the attention to detail and attractive presentation of amenities were also extraordinary! Our initial reaction to the expansive great room and kitchen was a WOW, with lights on, fresh flowers, a bottle of wine, cold water/carbonated water in the fridge, and soothing music on the 84" TV that accompanied scrolling scenes of gorgeous resort destinations. The owners have done a creative and remarkable job beautifying an older house. Spending time on the terrace with a relaxing water feature overlooking the mountain view was our favorite pastime. Some traffic noise occasionally broke the silence of nature, but when you do leave, the driveway has direct access to highway 64, and the home is about halfway between Cashiers and Highlands, a great location. ”
