Elegant Trulli Living Amid Timeless Olive Groves

Set within the rolling countryside of Cisternino, this exquisite trulli residence offers a seamless blend of historic architecture and modern sophistication. With eleven iconic stone cones rising above ancient olive groves and red earth, the property embodies the timeless spirit of Puglia while providing every comfort for contemporary living.

The grounds are a serene haven, with Mediterranean gardens, fruit trees, and winding stone pathways that lead to a spacious terrace. At its centre lies a private swimming pool, complete with a stone changing room and shower, as well as a broad solarium featuring loungers, gazebos, and shaded seating. An adjacent outdoor living and dining area, equipped with a summer kitchen, wood-burning oven, and barbecue, invites leisurely meals beneath the open sky.

Inside, the home is equally refined. Expansive living spaces include two lounges, a dedicated study area, and a modern kitchen with high-end appliances and a wine cellar. Three thoughtfully designed bedrooms, including a master suite with en suite bath and private courtyard access, provide privacy and comfort. A secluded hot tub, tucked into its own courtyard with shaded lounge areas, offers the perfect place to unwind.

Sleeping layout: Three double bedrooms—one master suite with en-suite bathroom and private courtyard access, plus two double bedrooms sharing a bathroom. In addition, the sofa bed in the small living room converts to a double bed, and there is a single bed on the mezzanine.

This residence is more than a home; it is an experience of authentic Apulian living, combining rustic beauty, upscale amenities, and captivating views across the surrounding countryside. Every detail has been considered to create a retreat of elegance, tranquility, and timeless charm.

Magical trulli stay in the Itria Valley

We stayed at Trulli Petralma with four couples the week of September 27 and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The trulli are beautifully restored — authentic and full of character, yet comfortable and well equipped, with plenty of space for a group our size. Waking up surrounded by centuries-old olive trees was something special, and the outdoor areas were perfect for long breakfasts and evenings together. The location near Cisternino is ideal for exploring Puglia — Ostuni, Locorotondo, Alberobello and Martina Franca are all an easy drive, and the countryside is peaceful and stunning. Greta was a fantastic host: responsive, warm, and full of great local tips. Highly recommended for groups and couples looking for a genuine, relaxing Puglian experience. We'd love to come back!”
