House Rules
Please take time to read our HOUSE RULES carefully before making a booking:
+ We have a STRICT MAXIMUM of 8 guests staying (unless otherwise arranged at time of booking)
+ The property may not be suitable/safe for toddlers aged 1 - 3 years due to the indoor gas log fire.
+ Guests MUST NOT BYO any additional mattresses or bedding. Extra guests will be asked to leave the property.
+ At least two group members must be over 25 years of age.
+ PLEASE RESPECT OUR NEIGHBOURS & keep noise to a minimum after 10pm & before 8am. If you think your group might get a bit rowdy then this is not a suitable property for you!
+ The Guest making the booking agrees not to sell or transfer the booking to another party.
+ Please do not move the interior furniture, doing so may cause damage. Under no circumstances is the inside furniture to be left outside overnight. No items are to be taken from the house ie. hats, blankets etc.
+The Guest agrees to notify the Property Owners immediately of any damage or breakages which may occur during their stay. Guests are liable for the full cost of any damage caused to the Property and/or the cost to replace broken items.
+ Smoking is not permitted inside the house or on the rear pergola/garden at any time. Any residual odours, cigarette butts left on the property surrounds or evidence of smoking will incur an extra cleaning fee of $200.
+ If you require electric vehicle charging during your stay please request this in your booking. There may be a fee depending on the number of vehicles & length of charging required. Alternatively there are fast charging stations available at SCENIC WORLD in Katoomba.
+ CHECKOUT TIME IS 11AM. Full instructions for check-out will be sent through the night before departure. Please ensure the property is secure with all doors locked, lights & appliances are switched off and that you have left ALL keys & remotes in the same places you found them when you arrived.
+ ALL garbage & recycling should be taken out to the bins near the garage (a fee will be charged for rubbish not removed from the property before check-out) *NOTE: Garbage collection day is early each Thursday morning.
+ To avoid extra cleaning fees please ensure the BBQ is cleaned properly before check-out.
+ Please leave the kitchen as you found it, put all dishes in the dishwasher & start it on a wash cycle before you leave. (A fee will be charged for excessive mess, dirty dishes etc. left in the property.)
PET POLICY
We are very happy to have your pet (no puppies), staying at Sable Mae but we do ask you to agree to follow our pet rules:
+ Dogs are not allowed on our decorative front garden area. The back garden is the perfect place to roam!
+ Under no circumstances are pets allowed on the beds or any of the furniture.
+ Pets must not be left in the property unsupervised at any time as this can result in damage to the property & distress to the pet.
+ Guests must clean up any fouling of lawns, paths & outside surfaces without delay.
+ Any evidence of soiling will incur an extra fee of $100
+ Any damage must be paid for by the guest
+ If there is a breach of any of these HOUSE RULES by the Guest or any of their party the Owners of SABLE MAE reserve the right to re-enter the Property and terminate the Holiday booking immediately.
+ It is the booking guest's responsibility to ensure ALL GUESTS are aware of our house rules as compliance is essential for every member of the travelling party. We hope you have a wonderful stay and treat our house with the same respect you would your own home. If you're unsure about anything please give us a call.
SPECIAL NOTE:
On December 18, 2020 the NSW Government introduced new rules for Hosts and Guest behaviour in short-term rental properties.
The new Code of Conduct for short-term rental accommodation lists requirements for all industry participants including hosts, guests, letting agents and booking platforms.
