Exceptional week!

We really enjoyed staying at this property on Camano Island. The house has such a wonderful floor plan, and being by the water in such a private location is so relaxing. We arrived just in time for the island’s artist studio tour which was so fun! We did a Tufted Puffin tour with Salish Sea Salish, biked on Lopez, visited Port Townsend, Bellingham and friends on Whidbey Island. Our whale watching trip took us up to Victoria Island to see Orcas… such a great area to explore and the perfect home base at our Thirdhome.”

Pacific NW luxury at its absolute best!

Totally amazing house We LOVED this Home - Wow what a location right on an Island in the Sound. The tides entertained us all day long and when the weather changed it was so much fun seeing the snow capped mountains beyond through the full height windows. Bald Eagles flying by was a frequent attraction while enjoying the deck high above the sea. The house is divine with modern architecture and amazing architectural detailing. Well equipped too, we appreciated the introduction to attractions and the local essential shopping in the area. An absolutely incredible property! Every last detail is planned, and in my view the best house on this shore. I couldn't recommend this setting and home any higher! ””

Perfect!

My husband and I needed a quiet place after all the Christmas chaos. This was perfect! Beautifully designed and decorated, with thoughtful extra touches throughout the home. We cooked, we whale watched, we slowed down and were able to breathe and recover. Jay was proactive and responsive to all our questions. ”

Beautiful home in a beautiful area!

I loved my stay here; turned into a solo adventure as my husband couldn't get away at the last minute. Jay was a wonderful host, and he and his wife's home is stunning! Jay was very responsive to a couple questions I had, and I would recommend staying here if you get the chance! I had beautiful views off the back deck, and the people I met on Camano Island were wonderful. I ziplined 15 minutes from their home and highly recommend! I went to Whidbey Island one day and enjoyed the shops and Spoiled Dog Winery nearby. I took a ferry to Orcas Island one day and hiked over 9 miles while in Moran State Park up to Mt Constitution and some other trails from this one. The views were incredible! I loved the small town also and felt very welcomed by everyone I met. I also went to Deception pass and hiked this area one day, and I drove into Seattle and enjoyed a day long wine tasting tour and met other fabulous women. Jay's home is about 1 1/2 hours north of Seattle, a car allows you to really enjoy all that is around you.”

Modern Cabin by the Sea and a Perfect Getaway

The owner, Jay, was extremely helpful and communicative. Apparently, we were his first guests and he made our stay pleasant and enjoyable. Camano Island is lovely with easy access to nearby Whidbey Island. The local golf course plays around 6200 yds from the tips, but don't let the distance fool you, this is a difficult course with tight fairways. Jay's home is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The house has all high end appliances and furnishings and you will be amazed from the moment you walk in. As we were Jay's first guests, some items were missing from the listing, such as a TV and fooseball table. Not an issue for us, so if you see a listed house feature that is important to you, best to contact Jay for clarification as he's always there to help.”
