Description

El Balcón Del Poeta | The Poet's Balcony

El Balcon del Poeta (The Poet's Balcony) is a beautiful four-bedroom apartment in the historic village of Burgo De Osma. There are plenty of places to see and visit around Burgo De Osma-Ciudad De Osma. Whether you love hiking or cycling, Burgo De Osma-Ciudad De Osma is a region where 20 hidden gems await exploring and visiting.

El Burgo de Osma is set among grassy plains, rocky outcrops, pastureland and hills, forming a typical Castilian mix of rocky mountains and gently rolling valleys. It is located between the Abión and Ucero rivers. At the Gate of San Miguel, the entrance to the walled town, the River Ucero flows through a fertile plain, circling the hill on which the ancient settlement of Uxama once stood and watched over by the castle.

The square occupies the site of the primitive cathedral, where visitors can admire the traditional colonnades that characterize medieval market towns and their streets. The Gothic cathedral, intended initially as a Romanesque temple, houses artistic treasures. The cultural wealth of this town lies in the Bishop's Palace, the Roman wall, and the traces of Renaissance architecture, such as the monumental tower, without forgetting the seminary and the Mudejar bullring. It is an outstanding Historic Site that should be noticed.

With its elegant design and quality details, this flat of more than 110 m² in the centre of Burgo de Osma is ideal for families looking for a relaxed base to get to know and enjoy the surroundings. Rooms are equipped for luxury and comfort, so you only have to worry about enjoying yourself.

Living spaces are ample and bright, with large windows allowing plenty of natural light. A decor blend of modern and classical styles and wooden elements creates an elegant and fashionable atmosphere surrounding the property.

*Please note, the property has a washing machine, and a drying rack to hang-dry clothes.

History abounds in Northern Spain

We selected this apartment because it was centrally located to a variety of wineries in Northern Spain. The apartment was tidy and well equipped for our use. The view off the deck was beautiful with the old city wall in the foreground and the mountains in the background. We had some great vineyard tours and tastings including some wonderful excursions into wine caves. A good time was had by all.”
