A fantastic stay

We enjoyed our week at Casa Mia a Cortona so much. Illaria was an excellent host as she stayed in contact with us before the visit and then sent us a pin as to where we could park our rental car outside the old city wall. She met us there and then walked with us inside the city wall to the apt, which was a very short walk. The apt. is in a fantastic location and the town of Cortona was such a delight to spend time in. The apartment had everything we needed. And the view from the upstairs bedroom was an added bonus that we could not have imagined. The sunset every evening was breath taking. We would definitely go back. ”

Best Location in Cortona

I enjoyed a week at Casa Mia A Cortona and found the apartment and the owner to be delightful. The home is smartly updated without losing the charm of a historic property. There was a stunning view of the landscape from the second floor window, where I enjoyed my coffee in the morning and wine at sunset. The apartment had everything you could want in order to be comfortable. Parking in Cortona is restricted within the town, but this is a short 1 minute walk to a parking lot. However, no car is needed to enjoy Cortona. Everything is in walking distance, and you can take the bus to nearby Camucia for groceries. There is no broadband WIFI, but the owner provided a cellular hotspot, which came in handy for calls and texting. We had a couple requests and the owner responded quickly and graciously. I highly recommend this home for a couple or two singles who wish to visit Tuscany.”

Casa Mia A Cortona was the perfect “ step back into time” we were seeking. The condo is perfect for two, and in the heart of historic Cortona makes you a part of the community immediately. Lovely Casa right in the heart of Cortona!

We loved, loved, loved Casa Mia A Cortona! First, it's in the walled "village" of Cortona. Public parking (at no cost) is right outside the walled entrance, and the walk to the Casa is short and not strenuous (no extreme hills to climb). Well set up and beautiful inside. Numerous restaurants very close by (the best one right around the corner) and totally within walking distance. Ilaria, the owner, was on top of everything. We were met in the exact parking lot she described in Cortona, walked to the house, shown around, and she communicated succinctly and descriptively about how to get there. She had great suggestions on where to go and what to do in the Tuscan countryside of Italy. We would come here again in a heartbeat. This was wonderful!”
