The School House was originally built in 1890. It has been completely renovated and converted into a gorgeous three-bedroom retreat. The house is one block from Trinity College School and a short walk from Historic downtown Port Hope, the Ganaraska river, and Lake Ontario. There is a large backyard, covered patio, dining and lounging areas, and a BBQ.

After a long day at the beach, curl up and unwind on the cozy living room sofa. Whip up a feast in the gorgeous gourmet kitchen featuring custom cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and an eat-in bar for four. Gather your guests to eat in the chic dining room or eat outside under the patio.

There are three spacious bedrooms to choose from. The primary bedroom features a king-sized bed, and an ensuite bathroom with dual vanities. The guest rooms include a queen bed and two twin beds, plus a beautiful bathroom with a shower/tub combination to share.

Get ready for playtime at the beach, biking trails, ziplining through the Ganaraska Forest, or storytime and crafts at the local library. Port Hope historic downtown is filled to the brim with 19th-century architecture and incredible stories, not to mention the perfect one-stop shop for unique finds to take home.
