Supply the condo — room 3809

Every condo we have ever reserved (and that has been a bunch) have supplied paper towels and dish soap. Except this one. C’mon hosts. Keep the simple stuff supplied!!! Ensure that it is done!! Also, at this particular condo, it took us two and a 1/2 full days to get the inside A/C temperature down from 80° when we got there finally to 72°. We had to block off every bathroom door and close every patio curtain to finally get the temperature down. This should all be done BEFORE the guests get to the condo!!! Pretend that you are the guest entering the condo and set it up like YOU would like it to be set up!!!!!!!!”

Great fun in Cabo!

Villa La Estancia is a lovely property on Medano Beach about 1 mile walk to downtown. The host was great, so was the room and property, and we enjoyed all the things you do here. Whale watching, dining in Pedrigal and AuBerge, and on property was great as well. We met many nice guests and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!”

Amazing

We went there for a girls and had the most fabulous, relaxing time. The location was perfect, just a short walk along the beach to get to restaurants, shopping and wonderful massages. The food at the resort was great too. The only thing I would stay is the unit we stayed in wouldn't be good for people with small children. The two bedrooms are separated by an entryway that leads to the outside, so when it's bedtime, I feel it wouldn't be safe if the kids were alone in their room, they could access the outside hallways. ”

We had a great stay at Villa La Estancia. The accommodations were great! There was plenty of space and we felt like we were in a home away from home. The staff was welcoming and very helpful throughout our stay. Our host was helpful before our stay, sending us tips and places to try. I would definitely go there again! ”

Fantastic Vacation

Our host Matt McDonald was fantastic and so was the condo and this resort! They actually have a beach that is swimable. And late in the evening there are Hot Tubs very close to the beach! Multiple Restaurants, convenience store, nightly entertainment. I love this property and hope to return!”

Absolutely Outstanding!

Everything about this resort is wonderful: The service (fabulous), the food, the entertainment, the pools, the rooms... The bed was sooo comfortable. The room was beautiful with a great view of the ocean (somewhat near the Marina in Cabo, so you can see the cruise ships come in as well as yachts - really fun). There was every amenity in the room you could possibly want. If you need a washer/dryer, there's one in the unit. I would describe the rooms as being appointed in a classy elegant old world style. Chaise lounges, tables, chairs, on the balcony. Huge master bath and two other nice sized bathrooms. We didn't watch TV, but there were several. There is a beach that you can walk on below the resort, but you cannot swim. However, there are plenty of beach clubs in Cabo and this is not unusual. The pools had swim up bars and were a nice size for the number of guests. Plenty of seating around the pool. If you drink, their frozen drinks are amazing - spicy mango margaritas, pina coladas. I'm sure other drinks are great as well - we just always got the frozen because they're so good. There is a Starbucks on site, a small grocery store and pharmacy, and several good restaurants. The owner was very attentive and helpful. He gave us the names (in advance) of some great restaurants and good golf courses. He then called to be sure that everything was going well. We felt pampered and well cared for by him and all the staff at the Estancia. One of the best vacations we have ever had! Thank you Mark and Estancia!”

Unforgettable Stay at Villa La Estancia, Cabo San Lucas

My recent visit to Villa La Estancia in Cabo San Lucas was nothing short of spectacular. The two-bedroom villa we stayed in provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable vacation. Here are some highlights from our unforgettable stay. The villa itself was a masterpiece of luxury and comfort. Spacious, well-appointed, and elegantly decorated, it immediately set the tone for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The open-concept living area and fully-equipped kitchen made us feel right at home. The private balcony offered breathtaking views of the Sea of Cortez, and we enjoyed many sunsets from this vantage point. It was a serene spot to start and end our days. The service we received was impeccable. The staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. They went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed, from restaurant reservations to spa treatments. Speaking of dining, the on-site restaurants served delicious meals. We indulged in a variety of dishes, from fresh seafood to authentic Mexican cuisine. Each meal was a culinary delight. The resort's amenities were top-notch. The pools were pristine, the beach was stunning, and we even tried our hand at some water sports. The Desert Spa was a tranquil oasis where we relaxed and recharged. Villa La Estancia's location in Cabo was ideal. It offered a peaceful setting, yet it was just a short drive from the vibrant downtown area. We were able to explore local attractions and return to our tranquil sanctuary at the end of the day. In summary, our stay at Villa La Estancia was a dream come true. If you're looking for a luxurious and serene getaway in Cabo San Lucas, this property should be your first choice. I can't recommend it enough and can't wait to return for another exceptional stay.”

Perfect location for a relaxing getaway!

Villa Estancia was the perfect relaxing getaway! The two-bedroom villa, three full bathroom unit had everything you could need. We had a total of three couples, which meant one couple was on the sofa bed. They said this was the most comfortable sofa bed they’ve ever experienced. Having a full third bathroom was a welcomed bonus as well. We spent a lot of time on the outdoor deck, sitting around the large table and lounging on the chairs. The L’Octaine bath products were lovely and more than we expected. We used the gym and spa each day, which had plenty of equipment. The pool was large and warm and we always found chaise lounges on the beach. Love that Medano beach is swimmable and a quick walk to other properties and restaurants. The staff were friendly and accommodating and made the best margarita! The on-site steak house was fantastic. We also had fun at the sports bar, listening to the lip-syncing performance. Our vacation was just what we needed and we can’t wait to return. ”

Chill vibe and beautiful residence that is on the beach at Cabo

Villa La Estancia is a jewel. While we knew of the Villa resorts linked together on the Cabo San Lucas' Medano Beach, we had never visited La Estancia. A trade with Third Home opened up the opportunity to stay there, and we were delighted with the quality of the residence--the two-bedroom with private separate junior suite connected by a courtyard to the main one-bedroom unit, the furnishings and kitchen in the residence, and the well-kept grounds and pool, not to mention the resort's commitment to spotless cleanliness. The staff were attentive and friendly. La Casona, the restaurant onsite, was so good we booked a second dinner before we left. Thanks to Third Home we discovered another amazing place in Cabo and will definitely return to Villa La Estancia. ”

Tough review

First off the service at La Estancia is excellent, 5 stars all the way. The staff at the resort and the restaurant, La Casona, are incredible and need to be given proper credit. The reason for the 3 star review is apparently during the month of September the resort is under construction. I was told this not by the owner of the property before our stay, but by multiple employees of Estancia during our stay. In fact there was 18 different condo's under construction all at the same time as well as the pool bar area so the entire resort felt like a construction zone. The elevator had construction debris in it the entire time we were there and from 9-5 each day the room was vibrating and tile/concrete chipping saws were running above our unit as well as throughout the resort. The manager of the resort insisted that every owner is aware of the construction month of September since it is in their HOA docs. I wish we were informed ahead of time. That being said, I would not hesitate to recommend Estancia in any other month, but do not go in September”
