November 2024solaz - a conflicted review on our visit
this was a tough one for me wish i could have given it 3.5 stars but thats not an option resort is beautiful and very well laid out and maintained. everyone was very friendly but there was a surprising amount of the lack of availibility to communicate. I understand that this is mexico and spanish is the native tongue and we are extremely well travelled travelling over 200 days a year and having been to mexico in excess of 25 times. Also this is a marriott autograph collection property and being well acquainted with marriott i expected different. food was overall quite good but was very expensive (42.00 all in for a hamburger) and also quite a mismatch. 5.00 for a vodka soda but 27.00 for a margarita. people and staff very very nice but communication and service were not what I felt it should be for this level of a property we played pickleball twice and the second time the court lines were just taped on the ground and portions were peeling off and some were missing. the net was a jumbled mess against the wall and we spent 10-15 minutes assembling the net so we could play. I explained the situation to the concierge and she said i need to take it up with the tennis manager and i said i already tried but he couldnt communicate with me as he spoke spanish only. I couldnt accomplish any headway so i texted if there was anyone else i could talk to and never received a reply. Not the end of the world but felt you shouldnt charge 40.00 an hour for a court with masking tape lines and a net you had to assemble once again a beautiful property and we did enjoy our stay but just had enough misses on items that made it not a 4 or 5 star review”

November 2024AMAZING
The Club at Solaz was absolutely beautiful and I will definitely be coming back soon. From the pool to the restaurants, everything was top notch and wonderful. My ambassador dropped the ball a couple of times which was frustrating and the reason I only gave 4 stars.”

August 2024Amazing vacation but some negatives
Los Cabos is an amazing destination, Solaz is a stunning resort with top-notch service. It would certainly merit 5 stars, except for three factors: 1) everything in the hotel is extraordinarily expensive (even by Los Cabos standards), 2) you’re forced to tip a minimum of 15% on everything (they deceptively call it a “service fee” and then include in the check a blank line they call “tip” to see if you fall and tip even more without realizing it) and 3) many rooms (including the unit we stayed at) have the entrance door facing the highway, so the noise inside the room is constant, especially during the day, but also at night. I would certainly stay there again but request one of the interior units, which may have inferior views but might be less noisy.”

The properties, beautiful wonderful location staff is kind and friendly. It’s operated just like a hotel. Make sure you request something on the lower level, not near the road,. Road is very loud and you can hear it while you’re inside your suite… Not that flexible with changing rooms if you’re sensitive to noise… Property is a fractional ownership, so sales team can be a little bit forward with their sales pitch constantly.”

Beautiful property, well informed staff, great location, excellent gym. Only negative was that you can hear vehicle street noise from room.”

May 2024Stunning Property with Exceptional Service!
Service was amazing starting from the moment you arrive. Every staff member was happy, helpful and truly concerned about making our stay perfect. 2 bedroom villa: panoramic ocean view with spacious balcony and interior. 3 Full bathrooms was a tremendous perk. Easy beach access and 4 pools! Gym is expertly outfitted with high end Technogym equipment. Our ONLY complaint: food and drink are outrageously expensive (ie Cheeseburger $44 USD, Margarita $25 USD, Small Pizza $28 USD: before service charge/tip/taxes). We read this same complaint on reviews prior to arrival. The actual restaurant prices were even more. We ate on property the 1st day only and probably would have eaten on property a bit more otherwise. Of course, ultimately we could afford to pay the prices but it was hard to rationalize the lack of value. Aside from the food/drink prices, it is an amazing property and we would definitely return. ”

March 2024Continued Nice Stay At Solaz
The Solaz continues to be a nice option in Cabo. It has a good location along the corridor with a long walkable beach. It is about a 20-25 min drive to downtown Cabo. The resort is well kept with great zero edge pools. It has a hip/cool vibe with a great gym. Staff is friendly and nice. The kitchen has no oven, but there is a cooktop, so if you desire to eat any meals in you'll likely be able to get it done. The upholstered furniture in the rooms needed cleaning or updating. Unfortunately the rooms ThirdHome guests are being given now are at the back end of the resort. While they are the furthest from the beach they are the closest to the fwy. We could hear the fwy noise in the room and on the balcony. That was a real disappointment. We did ask about being able to move rooms, but they were not able to accommodate us. We ate on property a few times. The prices are what you would expect for a resort, $20 cocktails and $25+ food items. While food was good, service was poor and very slow. Guests were leaving dinner and complaining. There is a staffing issue. The staff is doing the best they can. But 1 person can't run the bar plus take food orders and service. This was an issue all week. I think if you adjust for these issues and be prepared to do a lot of walking within the resort you can have a nice stay.”

February 2024Beautiful but noisy
We loved the property. The architecture, landscape and interior design were impeccable. All amenities are shared between the club and hotel, including great beach access, wonderful gym, delicious buffet breakfast, multiple restaurants and pools. We loved the beachside bar. Excellent service throughout the property. Spacious, well-appointed suites with full kitchen, 3 full bathrooms, living room, and a large deck with panoramic ocean views. Note, however, that if you are staying in the tower (v. the "galleria" units, which are typically reserved by club members), the property is located directly adjacent to the freeway and the rooms are not well insulated from noise. The freeway is scheduled to be relocated farther from the property in 2025. We would definitely come back once that project is complete, but not before. For us, the freeway noise was a significant detractor from an otherwise perfect stay. See you in 2026!”

February 2024Amazing property, wonderful stay!
This was our second time at the Solaz and everything was wonderful. We love the property, restaurants, gym and pools are all excellent, and the location right on the beach. Rooms are well appointed and comfortable for families. Staff goes the extra mile to help plan activities. ”

February 2024Beautiful property!
The 2BR unit was gorgeous, well appointed and super comfortable. The balcony offered expansive views of the water, where we saw tons of active whales. Beautiful stretch of beach, and the resort was meticulously maintained/landscaped and offered an abundance of great dining options (our favorite was Mako). Infinity pools and lunge chairs were aplenty, so never felt crowded. Overall loved our stay and don’t know why you don’t hear about Solaz more often in Cabo!”

December 2023Beautiful place
The property is beautiful, the service was great, the food during the day is great, the tennis and gym facilities are excellent and the rooms are spacious and have everything you need. This property is a solid 4 plus star property and we would come back. Two downsides - the rooms are very close to a main highway, so you can hear the highway noise. There aren’t any casual restaurants / menus for dinner time, which made dinner with the kids tricky. Additionally, my husband and I like casual Mexican food for dinner on vacation in Mexico, so not having that was puzzling.”

December 2023Beautiful and Relaxing in Cabo!
So glad that Solaz is reopened! This is our 4 stay at this amazing resort and it did not disappoint! A few restaurant changes but we went off property most nights for dinner! Pool is as beautiful and relaxing as you can ask for! Can wait to stay at Solaz again!”

November 2023Solaz is still great, but Club side of hotel tries too hard to sell timeshares
Had issue with checkin. Even though I had 2 bedroom unit reserved the timeshare lady on the Club side said that non owners can only stay in hotel rooms and not in a 2 bedroom suite. After some complaining we were able to get this cleared up with help from the resort side of the property. Seems like timeshare on Club side tries to pressure guests to do timeshare presentations. The Club side was not happy when we did not want to do a timeshare presentation with them. There were good things, like the service by the pool by Hector, Fernando, Cesar, Angel and others. But the issues with check in, and even now with check out. They confirmed a 12pm check out and golf cart pick up. I called 3 times and finally Raul (who is wonderful) came to pick me up at 12:30. Once I didn’t need to use the Club side of the hotel things went A-OK. The resort side was very helpful. Oh, there were also issues with the pool. They have a policy that if you put your stuff to save a spot it is only held 45 min. But they let people do it for HOURS in prime spots. It got better, but only after the hotel and club weren’t as busy after Thanksgiving. ”

April 2023Wonderful experience in Cabo
This is our second visit to Solaz and we absolutely love it! Beautiful facility, wonderful beach (that is swimmable on most days... unusual in Cabo) and very nice suite. Highly recommend a stay here!”

March 2023Solaz success
We recently went for a quick jaunt to Cabo and stayed at this amazing two bedroom suite at The Solaz. The suite was two bedroom ( one king and the other with two queens ), two bathroom, kitchen with washer and dryer, living room, guest bathroom, plenty of storage and a lovely patio overlooking the landscapes back of the property and the ocean. The full service was attentive and thoughtful and upon arrival we were given the whats app contact for our butler who was fantastic. We are very much independent when in Cabo but we did. stay on the property to lay at the pool a few afternoons which was lovely right on the beach two very long infinity pools percent to swim properly in and numerous bars and restaurants, the margaritas and tacos were great! Daily we walked from the property along the sand and got our steps in, all easy safe and stunning. We would love to go back to Solaz soon 🫶”

March 2023Disappointing Stay
This is the 3rd time staying at the Solaz resort. Once as a Thirdhome guest and once as a hotel guest. Both prior stays were great. I should mention those were before the closing. While we were technically in a Presidential Suite we were in the building closest to the road and you could hear road noise in the unit and on the balcony. Plus there were no lounge chairs or the patio spa like our two previous stays. We mentioned this right after check in and were told that they could not move us until Tuesday. On Tuesday we inquired about the move and we're told that there was no record of the request. A manager was to call us. No one called the entire stay nor followed up. On Thursday night when we inquired why we hadn't been receiving housekeeping we were told they could move us on Friday and clearly there was a problem. Check out was Saturday morning so no sense in moving for one night. We also received a bottle of champagne on Sunday which we assumed was for the noise inconvenience. On Tuesday we found it had been removed from the refrigerator. Strange. The hotel has some aesthetic changes and still have rooms and restaurants under construction/renovation so maybe they are not ready for prime time yet. Pool/beach staff is lovey and the resort in on a nice stretch of beach. There is about a 20/30 min conservation before they check you in about attending The Club timeshare presentation. But once we told them we were unhappy with the noise level in the room there was no pressure to attend. I think the resort is worth visiting, I would just make sure to ask for a room closer to the beach if you don't want to hear the cars from the hwy in the front bedroom or the balcony. Wifi was spotty and they acknowledged they had been having issues and were working on it. We did have room service one night and it was lovely and served on time.”

February 2023Gorgeous Property Good location
Hotel level service! Brand new and spotless. Think Ritz Carlton service level. Kitchens pretty well equipped. This is a condo-tel, fractional ownership Marriott managed facility. High end. Food is spectacularly expensive even for Cabo. $20 cappuccino breakfast buffet $120 pp. Crazy! ”

February 2023Excellent Service and Views
Solaz is back open after a roughly 2 year shut down. The resort itself is a masterpiece of architecture, landscaping, lighting and cuisine. Cabo resorts are known for service and Solaz was top notch all the way. The accommodations are familiar as I've stayed in the 2 bedroom prior to the closure. Great layout and the ocean views are excellent from the living room, patio and master bedroom. The views differ of course and our location this trip was as good as it gets. There's still construction going on in the main building (closest to the street) which is quite a bit of distance away from the pool, restaurants and beach but as of February 2023 we could still hear saws, jackhammer, etc. Luckily it was faint but still noticeable around the resort. It wasn't annoying enough to knock any stars off but it's something to be aware of if you're sensitive to this on vacation. That being said, I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Thank you for an excellent stay!”

May 2021Beautiful property with stunning landscaping and views.
Beautiful property with stunning landscaping and views. Great restaurants and friendly staff. Bit too aggressive in trying to sell time shares – received numerous calls even after saying I wasn’t interested Paying at the bar is complicated – have to open tabs at the bar itself and another one with the server who attends to you at the pool lounge chair Overall 4.5 rating”

May 2021Mexico Modern....
Great property....very cool and modern and on the nicer side in San Jose Del Cabo as opposed to Cabo San Lucas. You can hardly tell you are in Mexico really...feels like Laguna or Malibu. Everyone at the resort seemed to be escaping the US mask wearing paranoia and the resort was pretty chill with 98% of the guests being mask free, which was a welcomed sight for me! We managed to skip the high pressure time share sales pitch (don't do it, I heard it lasts 8 hours and that is not worth the $200 credit they will offer you). The suite was very nice....you are not right on the water so expect only an inch or two of ocean in your view but it's still decent. We ate some great food off resort...I highly recommend Flora Farms, Los Tamarindos, Carbon Cabron and Acre. You can get an Uber very easily for about $10 each way otherwise a cab is about $30 and it's about $60/day to rent a car. Make a grocery stop at Costco or Fresko before you check in. And skip downtown Cabo San Lucas altogether. There's not a lot to do here but if you just want to chill in a great resort, this is the place. I would definitely come back.”

May 2021The pinnacle of vacationing.
Solaz is the epitome of peace and tranquility. The flora and insects throughout the resort create an ambience of relaxation when combined with the gentle rush of the ocean waves. The room was elegantly appointed and spacious. The feeling is modern and clean anywhere you are on the resort grounds. The staff is very attentive and addresses you by your name right from the start. We stayed at a resort down the road the week before arriving at Solaz and compared to Solaz there was no comparison, hands down Solaz is in a league of it's own. We attended the presentation which was fairly low key and not pressuring. The price to own was more than double what we were expecting so we passed. Thank goodness for my Thirdhome membership that allows me to visit here without having to own. ”

May 2021Excellent May stay at Solaz
We had an excellent stay at Solaz. The room is modern, spacious, extremely clean and very well kept up. The beds vet comfortable. Kitchens have a microwave that doubles as a small oven. The patio is complete with a hot tub. Due to the pandemic the tower units are closed. All units at Solaz face the ocean. The pools are great with very friendly staff and plenty of umbrellas. COVID testing is available on-site for $25. Results emailed the same day. It meets requirements to travel to USA. Recommend download and complete VeriFLY before going to airport. While not required it moves you to the front of the line. The transportation service through Solaz has only the private option. It you have 5 or more it is worth it. An added bonus is they walked us through the process when we returned to the airport. TenCar is a good option for car rentals but book early for availability and better pricing. You are closer to San Jose del Cabo which makes it a better choice for dinners. Lots of good restaurants. Costco and several large grocery stores to stock up on supplies. We en joyed our May week. The weather was perfect. The Sea of Cortez is swimable at this level vs. the pacific side and resorts closer to the tip of the Baja. Having a 3rd bathroom is a plus in the 2 bedroom unit. ”

April 2021Stunning Beachfront Location
Solaz is a beautiful property. Friendly staff and excellent restaurants were an added bonus. Our stay would have been a 5 star however we didn't care for pressure to attend a sales presentation and missed the little ammenties like coffee and laundry soap in the unit that we've appreciated at our own property. ”

March 2021The best week!
First time to Cabo and we couldn't have had a better trip than to stay at Solaz. The architecture and finishes of this property are top shelf, the staff is beyond gracious, and the Cabo weather is perfect every day. We absolutely loved coming here. Our 2BR suite was perfect for the four of us, two teenagers included. Mornings were spent on the "porch" and we loved the hammock and hot tub. The linens on the beds were so soft and we all slept well. Housekeeping was wonderful. The spa was excellent. A note to say you might want to pack a few things in your suitcase for the kitchen: extra Nespresso-style pods (original shape like a thimble--four are provided and none available to purchase in the market shop), a few laundry pods for the washing machine (none provided in the unit but can be purchased from front desk), we brought our own salt, pepper, cumin & garlic (for guac), wine stoppers, cocktail shaker, napkins, preferred sweetener for coffee, ziplocs. Dishwasher tabs are provided but hardly ran the dishwasher because housekeeping cleaned everything daily. We used grocery delivery service by Prickly Pear and they were great. There is a small grocery store in the Shoppes at Palmilla (part of the Palmilla development, 8 min. drive from Solaz) that has a great selection of American grocery items called California Ranch Market. I would've bought less through Prickly Pear and just made a trip down there, had I known about it. We rented a car through Alamo at the airport and had no trouble getting around. Solaz is perfectly situated on the Tourist Corridor, about halfway between the two "cities" of Cabo--San Jose and San Lucas. This made it a 15 min. drive to either town and there are reasons to go to both. It was a 25 min. drive to the airport, very easy. Several other 5-star hotels within 1-3 miles of Solaz--Las Ventanas/Rosewood, Hilton, Westin, One & Only Palmilla. As soon as you know you are going to Cabo, make two reservations for dinner: La Lupita (the location in San Jose books up way in advance) and Flora Farms. If you have a car and don't mind a 30-min drive seemingly to the middle of nowhere, go to the Nobu hotel and have dinner there. Incredible. Thank me later. There was a press when we first checked in to do the timeshare sales presentation--on-property discounts were offered if we did, etc. We declined and continued to decline when asked a second time. That is not what we want to do on our vacation. Just be prepared to say "no" if that's not what you want to do. Covid testing for our return home couldn't have been easier. Alberto, our concierge, booked us in for Wednesday (we went home on Saturday), they had a small tent outside with a doctor and there was a short line to get tested. Fairly painless. Took 20 minutes. We got our "negativo" results via email three hours later. Uploaded results to the Verifly app (recommended by American Airlines) and were ushered to the front of an empty line at the airport on Saturday while tons of other people without Verifly waited in the regular line at check-in. Highly recommend Verifly. All in all, a fantastic trip and we left feeling refreshed and truly rested. Would return in a heartbeat. ”

I love Solaz. The views and amenities are incredible. The staff was perfect during my stay- everyone is so nice and they will go above and beyond. The food is great as well, especially at Misaki the sushi place. I couldn't of been happier! ”

December 2020Wonderful Relaxing Stay
The resort has a contemporary feel on an open long and wide beach. The suite is well appointed. Note, the kitchen did not have an oven and no supplies for cooking. The suite bedding was comfortable and house keeping did a good job. The pools are beautiful and the service from all the staff was wonderful. The resort was clean and took Covid precautions. Gym has just about everything one would need and was again, very clean. At the time of our stay only 2 restaurants were open. Both were good. The location is nice, along the corridor. Other dining options are a short drive and downtown Cabo San Lucas is about a 15 min drive. ”

October 2020Incredible Vacation
Went to Solaz on a girls trip. It was such a beautiful place. The infinity pools and swim up bars were a favorite. Rooms were beautiful. Will definitely go back.”

October 2020Wonderful Solaz
We just spent our fourth week at Solaz in two years. It seems to get better with each week. The staff is wonderful and Ricardo was especially accommodating. We highly recommend it and look forward to our return call next year.”

March 2020Third Stay at Solaz
This was our third stay at Solaz over the past year and, needless to say, we have enjoyed this property very much. The team there works very hard to insure the guests are happy and the property itself is new and immaculate. Can't wait to go back!”

March 2020Solaz Los Cabos
Solaz is a beautiful resort with really nice suites and really comfortable accommodations . Architecture is best described as Modern Mexican. All units have nice views of the the Sea of Cortez. There are several infinity pools overlooking the beach and sea. Staff is really friendly. You will be asked to attend a timeshare presentation but not required. We attended the presentation and learned a lot about the resort and met many timeshare owners while at resort . We can see why this is such a successful timeshare as the resort is terrific and timeshares are a really good value. Many restaurants , activities, nice gym and spa facilities. ”

February 2020Solaz-best in Los Cabos
We just spent 2 weeks at Solaz and we could not be happier. The entire staff is friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. The food was delicious but a tad bit pricey. One of the best amenities is the beach and it is swim-able but always use caution in Cabo!! Many options as far as pools are concerned and the fitness center was ideal. The roof top desert gardens were unique and much more aesthetically pleasing than typical roof tops. Architecturally, a master piece. The interiors of the suites were perfect and the beds were the best ever. We would recommend a breakfast table and chairs on the balcony. Overall 5 stars and we look forward to our return visit. ”””

March 2019Solaz Los Cabos
Beautiful property! All the amenities you need. The landscaping is exceptional, the pool and beach area is one of the best in Cabo. Exceptional service and staff. The only improvement would be the outdoor furniture.”

December 2019Excellent Resort - Amazing Suite
We spent 1 week at Solaz. It is a fantastic resort. The suite is very modern and fully equipped. The location is perfect and it has really nice restaurants, pools and beach. Just be prepared - they do push the timeshare presentation pretty hard. We thought about it for 1 night and then decided to go ahead with it since they were providing resort cash and discounts on activities. The resort staff is excellent, friendly and very helpful. We will definitely come back.”

December 2019Great condo
We loved the view and condo. The ocean front has a great view and jacuzzi (for one) on the balcony. The second bedroom is interior with window but has significant road noise that is not an issue in the front. Kitchen is complete with convention/ micro. So some meals “at home” are a nice Option. I asked for grocery option and they can stock some things or else grocery trip is easy. Costco or local grocery was done by Uber. Great place. Had some disappointments with the restaurantS. Ok but not great. ”

December 2019Solaz
Very cool architecture, amazing landscape and excellent service are the big takeaways from staying at Solaz Cabo. The beachfront infinity pool is also another huge draw. The service level compares to St. Regis in my opinion. The food on site was great but we also made a few meals in the condo with the kitchen. The dishwasher was broken but that was about the only issue. ”

December 2019Solaz los Cabos Presidential Suite Dec. 14-21, 2019
An interesting architectural complex and quite large property with many good restaurants and a long beach front and areas of pools to cool off in, stand in and swim long lengths if desired. Room was well appointed and service exceptional. Staff is wonderful and gym large and well equipped. Would return in a heart beat. Located equidistant from Cabo San Lucas and Los Cabos. Uber was available and good to use, but there is a rental a car service at the hotel if desired. Good for young and old alike. ”

December 2019Fantastic

November 2019Solaz Presidential Suite
Beautiful new resort with stunning architecture , natural landscaping and beachfront beachfront rooms. Staff is friendly and helpful. Restaurants and pool service were very good with price fair for a resort property. Would be 5 star rating if not for a food borne illness caused by the resort restaurant and furniture in living room not being more comfortable. Overall a really nice resort especially for a time share property. ”

November 2019Beautiful Cabo resort with exceptional amenities
Solaz is a beautiful place. It is very well located in Cabo and near to many great restaurants and beautiful beaches. It was perfect if you're looking for a place that you don't have to travel off property much. There are several pools and 4 restaurants on site. The tennis pavilion is not yet finished which was unfortunate, but understand it will be done in summer 2020. The staff people were warm and friendly, but they need a more consistent training program as the follow up was lacking. Overall, I'd recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing get away with nice amenities.”

November 2019Worth The Trip
Great unit, 2nd row back from the water. Great hottub, and hamock on the patio. The service was amazing, and staff was helpful. GYM was closed for mantinance but looked great!”

November 2019Great Stay
The Solaz is a lovely property with well appointed and comfortable suites. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Their staff offers 2x daily maid service. My only items to note: they barely provide anything the bathrooms (mini shampoo/conditioner/lotion and it's not replaced) so bring all of your own toiletries. Additionally, unlike many cabo properties, they do not have sunscreen by the pool/beach areas. Plan on bringing this. A great stay and would recommend this property. ”

October 2019Amazing 2 week stay at Solaz
Spectacular Property. Above and beyond. I didn't expect it to be so high end just because it's a fractional property, but it was at par with the best in Cabo. ”

October 2019Solaz Signature Suites
Solaz is a fabulous property. We enjoyed our stay very much. The food and drinks is very pricey. ”

March 2019AMAZING, simply amazing
Had an AMAZING time with my 2 older daughters. Everything was top notch and high quality. The service was overall good; however, one day they forgot to clean our room. Not sure how that happened. Will definitely return!!”

March 2019Solaz-Look forward to our return visit
We just spent 2 sun drenched amazing weeks at Solaz and we could not be happier. The entire staff warm, welcoming, and eager to help. The food was delicious but a tad bit pricey. One of the best amenities is the beach and it is swimable!! Many options as far as pools are concerned and the fitness center was ideal. The roof top desert gardens were unique and much more aesthetically pleasing than typical roof tops. Architecturally, a master piece. The interiors of the suites were perfect and the beds were the best ever. The very loud Coca Cola private party until 2 am was the only negative encounter for the entire 2 weeks. Overall 5 stars and we look forward to our return visit. ””

March 2019Beautiful Modern Resort with amazing views
Brand new Beautiful Resort with first class amenities. Safe, clean, modern rooms and awesome views. We used the spa, gym and restaurant facilities all of which were excellent, but were very very expensive. The Infinity pools are amazing with swim up bars and beautiful views. We are giving a 4 star because they push selling you a time share, apparently it is common for most of Los Cabos resorts to do, but important for anyone who is a 3rd home homeowner to know that you are going to a time share and so they push to sell you one. ( at $12,000 a week ) Also the resort is so new that the staff is not all on the same page, ex. They sent us to the bar to the 1st day because our room wasn't ready, but the bar wasn't open, then they put us in a different room when our room was ready but didn't tell us it wasn't a presidential suite until we asked the next day, then they offered to move us. They also often give in accurate information because they don't know, like no we don't have an alternate coffee maker but then another guests tells you that you do. Also they charge you $15 per day per person ( regardless of the age) Overall it is a Great location between San Jose and Los Cabos Marina and if you like modern this is the place to be. The car company at the Resort was fabulous, infant Oliver the reservation was more knowledgable then the resort staff.”

March 2019Cabo Luxury
Great stay at the Solaz in Los Cabos. High points were the service, room appointments, and excellent facilities. Pools, gym and spa are 5 star. Food and restaurants were great until two in our party had separate bouts of food-borne illness, thus the four starts instead of 5. Gave into what was supposed to be a “20 minute” abbreviated timeshare presentation that went 90 minutes but sales agents were professional and polite when I declined to buy.Would definitely go back though.”

March 2019Spectacular Property!
This is a truly beautiful luxury property. We had 4 people, but the 3rd bath is a full one so you could easily use the comfortable fold-out couch in living room to add 2 more. Private courtyard in front, beautiful balcony with hammock and hot tub on the ocean side. They have a Tech gym which is immaculate and pools, shade, lounges, and restaurants everywhere.. Every single staff member was well-informed, friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. There is a great little market on site which also has a Starbuck's inside, and there is a full kitchen, Nespresso machine and washer/dryer in the unit.. The beach in front of the resort is not particularly swimming-friendly and they ask you not to swim, but we live at the beach so felt comfortable doing so. This is a new property so was not full, and very quiet with very few children. They do exert a lot of pressure to join their sales session which is 75 min but you are rewarded with restaurant credit. However, because my husband had to work in the mornings, they would not let me attend alone!”
