Description

A Dual Chalet Retreat in the Carinthian Highlands

Perched at an elevation of approximately 1,600 metres, this boutique alpine retreat commands a remarkable position within the Klippitztörl holiday village, a serene enclave in the Carinthian Alps. Situated equidistant between the cultural hubs of Klagenfurt and Graz, the property offers an ideal balance of peaceful seclusion and accessibility.

Surrounded by dramatic mountain peaks and pristine forests, the setting provides a true sense of escape, inviting guests to embrace the slower rhythm and restorative beauty of alpine life.

The property offers a rare opportunity for both intimate gatherings and larger celebrations, as the two chalets can be enjoyed individually for up to six guests each or combined to accommodate up to 12 guests. Please note that a different number of Keys will apply when booking both chalets together. Thoughtfully designed for both privacy and convenience, the estate includes two private garage spaces, a spacious front parking area for additional vehicles, and a covered central staircase that seamlessly connects the two chalets.

Inside, the interiors blend contemporary luxury with timeless alpine character. Natural timber and stone are paired with clean architectural lines and carefully selected designer finishes to create an atmosphere that is both elegant and welcoming.

Each chalet centres around an open-plan living area featuring a designer kitchen, dining space and a cosy fireplace. Flexible sleeping arrangements include a sofa bed alongside comfortable bedrooms, two of which feature en suite bathrooms with walk-in showers. The principal bedroom enjoys its own en suite bathroom with a bathtub, creating a peaceful retreat after a day spent exploring the mountains. Floor-to-ceiling glazing frames spectacular alpine views and opens onto a balcony and generous sun terrace, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the surrounding landscape.

Practical amenities include a dedicated utility and ski room equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer, providing convenient storage and laundry facilities after days on the slopes or hiking trails. Completing the wellness experience is a panoramic sauna, where guests can unwind while taking in breathtaking views of the Carinthian mountains.

Beyond the chalet, the region unfolds as a year-round playground for outdoor enthusiasts. Winter brings reliable snow and excellent skiing, while spring, summer and autumn reveal an extensive network of hiking and cycling trails through alpine meadows and forests. Nearby lakes provide opportunities for swimming and relaxation, while Nordic walking, golf, tennis, horse riding and thermal spas are all within easy reach. Excellent local restaurants throughout the region showcase the rich culinary traditions of Carinthia, ensuring memorable experiences both on and off the mountain.
