February 2026Peaceful Haven
What a beautiful home! There is plenty of space for everyone. Our host was very communicative before our arrival and left some fruit and food for us after our long travel, since we didn't have our car rental yet. He also gave us suggestions on cab services to get to the car rental office the the next day. The location has a beautiful view and my favorite part was waking up to a beautiful sunrise every morning, from the comfort of the bed. We were able to visit Sculptureum, Omaha Beach, the Matakana Village (including the Saturday Farmer's Market), boat tour to Kawau Island, and Kiwi watching at Tawharanui Regional Park. It was a perfect basecamp for all of these activities. Thank you José for opening your home and being such a gracious host! It will be a trip we will always remember.”
