Out of Season

Early spring in Sea Girt is perfect for visitors who want to see the coastal architecture, timeless beauty, and attractions Sea Girt and the surrounding areas has to offer without the crowds and heat that the revelers and summer bring. It's crispy cool in the mornings and evenings with warm sunshine during the day if you're lucky. Our host Gina, was very welcoming and full of energy. She genuinely wanted our stay to be comfortable, memorable as well as enjoyable. She gave us a list of key POI, restaurants, and activities in the area. The cleanliness of the accommodations is impeccable. All the architectural surfaces appeared almost new. Meticulous care and thought was taken in choosing them as well as the antique furnishings. The kitchen was well stocked with common seasonings and spices. All appliances were spacious and above standard. As reasonable and responsible tourists, we did our research online before booking to find out what area we would be vacationing in. The property is located within walking distance of the local beach and has a train that passes by about 100 yards away. So, don't let that surprise you! Also, there are no window dressings, but is not so concerning from the second floor, but be aware. Also if stairs are challenging for you, then this Third Home is not for you. Be sure to visit historical Asbury Park. The amphitheater and boardwalk is a time trip that showcases the music, clubbing and gaming culture from the 60's through 90's. Buy some homemade pralines from River Street Sweets. Many food cultures are represented in the area, but if you love Korean food, then Kimchi Mama is the authentic joint with family owned style service. ”

Great little town

Too far from beach to walk. Home is nice. Lots of stairs (2 levels). Train very close by (500 yds?) and loud. ”
