March 2025Wonderful First Time Experience to Crested Butte
We had a wonderful stay at Riverside Eagle View in Crested Butte, CO. The home was perfect for two couples traveling together — the layout provided ideal privacy with one couple upstairs and the other downstairs. The common spaces were warm and inviting, and we especially enjoyed the cozy fireplace and the hot tub, which overlooked a peaceful stream with scenic mountain views. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed for cooking meals at home, and we appreciated having a grill available for outdoor grilling. While we rented a car and found the drive to the ski resort and downtown Crested Butte easy and convenient, it was also a bonus to see that the local bus system serviced the community (though we didn’t need to use it). The only minor issue we encountered was a mix-up with the cleaning crew on our departure day — there was some confusion about our checkout time due to our booking through ThirdHome rather than Airbnb. That said, the matter was manageable and didn’t detract from an otherwise fantastic experience. We highly recommend this property for couples or small groups looking for a comfortable and scenic retreat close to everything Crested Butte has to offer.”
