December 2024Stunning Views - amazing condo in every way! Felt like home!
We had to book our trip last minute (due to another property being damaged in a storm) for our family of 4 plus my parents and were grateful to find this listing available on Third Home. We flew into Phoenix and took the "Head Out Rocky Point" shuttle from the PHX airport to the lobby of the condo (and back) which is about a 4 hour trip each way. We arrived and found that the entire unit was even better than depicted in the photos and in the description. The patio was "Next Level" with plenty of seating, a fireplace, pool table, BBQ and THOSE VIEWS!!! We made sure to see every sunrise and sunset! Without a car, we were able to get to the Super Ley grocery store and a few restaurants in town as well (costs about $20 to get into town via the local taxis). We also took a 4 hour fishing trip through Del Mar Charters (which was really fun/safe) and we played golf at the beautiful Las Palomas Golf course as well (which was a challenging course - especially with a little wind). Though it was December, the majority of the pools were heated (as well at the hot tubs) and the weather was nice enough to sit out and get sun. We loved taking our daily walks up and down the beach as well and the kids enjoyed the banana boat/jet ski options. This condo was well appointed with lovely furniture, a great sound system/TV, nice blankets for use inside and out, games, etc...but the best part of it was the kitchen (which had everything you could imagine - all high quality - including a myriad of spices, oils and even coffee/teas). We were able to do a lot of cooking "in house" and really appreciated not having to buy a lot of extras at the store. The property is really nice (pools, grounds, gym, restaurants, etc...) and we enjoyed the lunch specials at the pool and the coffee shop. We would recommend this location/condo to anyone who wants to go to Mexico but still be close to the US as everyone spoke English, the residents seemed to really appreciate tourists, it felt very safe and the condo felt like home. We would LOVE to come back to this same property in the future!”
