March 2025Peaceful and Private Family-Friendly Beach Home
Our group of friends stayed for a week at Dwight's beach house and found it perfectly suited to our needs. With space to sleep 10, we found the home spacious, welcoming and relaxing. The main living area includes a large dining table big enough for the whole family as well as a u-shaped lounge and a super cute reading area by the fireplace, with ample space between each of those areas to make it feel like you were in a separate room. And yet... there's a second lounge in another wing of the house! We loved having the space to split into multiple groups to suit everyone's activity preferences, then come back together for shared meals. Speaking of meals, the kitchen was well supplied and the large wraparound bench gave us all the space we needed to cook elaborate dishes. There was even a second fridge outside, so we were able to make one grocery run and stock up for the whole week. The many activities provided at the house were a particular highlight for our group. We played countless games of table tennis, foosball and pool as well as several board games, and we made good use of the swimming pool and outdoor lounges as well. There was always something to do in the home and, for quieter moments, lots of outdoor nooks to rest and recline in the peaceful and private back yard. While the home itself offered plenty to keep us busy, we loved how close it was to the beaches. We went to a different sunset viewing area each night, usually driving under 10 mins to do so, and enjoyed several beach walks as well as the local ice cream shops and cafes. We recommend this home for families or groups of friends like ours. If you're looking to escape the city pace and relax together in a calming social atmosphere, you won't go wrong here. ”
