June 2025Beautiful villa in a tranquil setting
We had the most wonderful stay at Chris's fabulous French home. The villa is most unusual wth it's mix of traditional stone house with a very modern chill out and bedroom area on the ground floor. We really enjoyed all the facilities, but also the tranquil setting overlooking nature and a field with horses. The star gazing at night was really amazing too. The area was very refined. Despite being in the French countryside there were a few very good restaurants around with 5-15 minutes from the property. We ate out every night and thoroughly enjoyed them all. The villages ranged from charming to breathtaking. A really very special area that we would love to visit again. Thank you very much Chris.”

May 2025Super villa in the Dordogne
This is a super villa - it’s very large with everything you could need. Good size pool, two hot tubs, and a pool table. Lots of room for a large group to eat and spend the evening together. Great eating recommendations - in particular La Recreation and Vue sur Gindou. Fun markets nearby every day to visit. All in all I thoroughly recommend Les Hirondelles. Many thanks to the owners.”

October 2024A wonderful week in the Dordogne
We had a wonderful week at the house. It had everything we could have possibly wanted to ensure a comfortable stay. The games and cinema room was a highlight with the kids! The location was central to allow us to explore many well known local villages and markets. Would definitely recommend a stay.”
