Casa Nobile

Casa Nobile is a bridge to the true essence of Tuscan village life. When my spouse and I purchased the property a few years ago, we wanted to create a place for friends and family to come and make a connection, and feel a magnetic sense of belonging during their time in this magical village.

Nestled within the medieval hamlet of Castelmuzio, Casa Nobile is not simply a Tuscan home: in Italy this type of house is known as a palazzo signorile, which can be translated as noble or gentleman’s house. The elegant and sophisticated town house sits on a quiet piazza on the edge of the charming 13th century village.

The perfect location - Casa Nobile is located in the centro storico of Castelmuzio, situated 2.25 hrs north of Rome and 1.5 hrs south of Florence. We are a 20 minute drive from the A1 autostrada. Montalcino, famous for its highly coveted Brunello, is a mere 25 minute trip - Montepuliciano, known for its Vino Nobile, is a 20 minute ride, while the popular village of Pienza is a short 12 minute drive. Castelmuzio is in the province of Siena, in the heart of the stunning UNESCO-protected Val D’Orcia.

The property boasts 4 suites and accommodates 9 guests. Its interior design mixes old world charm with new world comfort. Luxury linens and high end furnishings are provided to pamper our guests. All suites are air-conditioned and the house has central heat for cooler weather. Complete laundry facilities are available on-site as well as access to a concierge to assist with reservations and activities if desired.

Of course, food and wine lovers will have easy access to vineyards and restaurants offering regional specialties prepared with a true sense of pride. Organic food and wine is abundant.
