Diamanté NeverDisappoints

Another great week at Diamanté. The only heads up is there is new management for parts of the resort including the golf. They have raised the green fee from $325 USD to $500 USD. It is a nice course but $500 is super expensive! Also there are some other changes that are costing more while you are there.”

Nice condo/villa

The unit was beautiful, the location on the property was great. The view was beautiful. The only problem for us, we don’t play golf, so we felt there was a lack of things for us to do on the property. There was really just one pool small for the whole property…for everyone… besides the VERY LARGE BEAUTIFUL LAGOON, but the water in it was very cold. We have never been to Cabo, didn’t care for all the wind. VERY WINDY. And the travel to the resort was not very pretty… it was lots of desert. Very interesting, but not pretty. The little store at the resort needs to add more things to eat. Very little to buy there. And the food that we ate was amazing… very good but not a big variety offered. The good things… they were very kind! The activities director was very friendly and included everyone! The unit was updated and very nice! The property itself was well kept and if our children were there we would have enjoyed the water sports more. In checking out we had to change flights and had to keep updating with the front desk and he was so helpful and didn’t even get upset that we kept changing the time we needed a ride. Worked with us, with a smile! ”

Very Nice Property, but watch the room bait and switch

Diamonte is a fantastic property, but as a Thurdhome member, you are going to get their worst room in the category that you booked. We booked a presidential suite with a lagoon view, but ended up i. the first floor facing a bush… ”

Two beautiful rooms with very spacious living room to entertain and watch tv. Enjoyed using the lovely kitchen and dining room. Short walk to the lagoon to enjoy sun and relaxation.”

Baja Coast Enjoyment

As owners, we exchanged this year into a Presidential Suite in the Resort building facing the Lagoon. The appointments were newer/more comfortable and the ground floor view of the garden was beautiful and quiet. Of course the golf was great. However, compared to our 2023 visit, we saw an overall reduction in service for cleaning the unit and for the waiters in all the restaurants and on the Lagoon beach. The quality/quantity of food in each restaurant was less (and some regular items on the menu were out of stock) while prices were 70% more expensive.”

Great Stay

It was ok

The customer service at the resort was not completely accommodating. The property was ok but the service was not the best. Nobody told us about amenities and activities upon arrival, so we missed out on things that we would have enjoyed. "read the app" was what we were told ”

A great family golf trip

We own at Diamonte and decided to invite my family along with Third Home. They put us right next to each other and had a wonderful time. We only got to play the Dunes course which was beautiful as they are incredibly busy trying to get El Cardenale for the PGA Tournament in Nov. After it’s over the resort will definitely have a new look. But we all had a great time and food was fabulous.”

Great getaway.

We reserved a week for our 25th anniversary. We had unit 4040 and it was very clean, kitchen was stocked with pretty much anything you needed, but we only used it for breakfasts. Full fridge, cooktop, microwave and dishwasher. Resort provides plenty of soap and DW pucks, much appreciated. Also salt pepper and coffee filters. We liked our side view onto the golf course and sunset. We enjoyed the lagoon for Sunning and swimming but shuttled to the Ocean Club pool. Had breakfast and lunch there too. Also had some casual dinners at the Dunes Sportsbar. Due to the humidity, thee was some flies so we reserved for inside the SB. Nice club chairs and sports to watch. Beautiful sunsets from the patio. Overall very happy. The entire master plan is under some sort of construction. Will drive past it entering the resort but it will be impressive when completed. If you get a chance, try Picaro restaurant. Great restaurant, desert and ocean view, not too far away. We had a car so valet parking was great. Easy to get to especially using the toll road from SJD. Enjoy!”

Marc is an amazing instructor and had an encouraging touch with our new golfer teens. The Oasis short course was a great deal and fun for the beginners! There were too many other activities to list including pickle ball and a turtle release.”

We had a fabulous ThirdHome week at Diamante. The golf and golf academy instructor Marc is outstanding. We love the lagoon. Our only negative is that the TRC is showing some wear. A sewage odor all week in the lock off and only warm water from the kitchen faucet so we used the dishwasher all week. Staff and service was excellent!”

Great deal!

I went on a “pointless” deal. The value was amazing. Diamanté is ideal for golfers. I prefer oceanfront properties. The pool was stunning. The weather was very windy…I think because it was April. The two bedroom condo was clean, well appointed and spacious. There weren’t a lot about food options, but the food was decent and available. Spent a fortune on a dinner at Nobu near by one night. ”

You will have a great family vacations! The place is amazing with and incredible Crystal Lagoon that the children enjoyed all the time. The sea its a little bit far. The hotel personel were very helpful all the time.”

2 bedroom was nicely appointed. Service in restaurants was poor. Food was average. While the lagoon view was nice, we missed being on the ocean and having an up close ocean view. A lot of pressure, each day we would receive a phone call, to meet for breakfast to consider buying. Doubt we will return to Diamanté as we prefer the Sea of Cortez side. ”

Lovely Stay

Our stay was nice. The hotel was a little dated, but overall it was a nice stay and the rooms were spacious. This was our first time staying along the pacific in this area. The cabs are $30 to town, so it is a little pricey if you don’t have another couple to split with. There aren’t very many options for food in the resort, but the golf course bar was very good, and we probably had the best burger ever there. If you plan to work out be prepared to pay $15 to use the gym each time. There is a nice track around the lagoon and pool that gives you a nice track to run or walk as an alternative. We didn’t golf, but the courses looked beautiful. Just quite expensive if you dont have a member rate. We played at another high end golf resort and even with cab it was $70 less per person. The cleaning staff does an exceptional job every day and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. ”

Beautiful Resort

Really enjoyed our stay at Diamante. Staff was very friendly and attentive. OF course golfing is the draw to Diamante. We played the Oasis Course and the Dunes Course. The Dunes is one of the most challenging courses you'll ever play, it was amazing. The food is outstanding, wish it was a little cheaper but the quality is great. They do have construction going on that wasn't too bad. I looked at it as a sign of progress. When it's finally going to be completed it will be the premier place to stay in Cabo.”

Everything at the property is outstanding! We had this 2 bedroom along with the Golf Villa for a week. Lots of new construction going on but it never effected us. Would differently come back! The Lagoon picture does not due it justice! Very cool!”

Great Week as a Family

Our second time at Diamante. It's a great property and awesome staff. The food is amazing at the main restaurant, bar and dunes club. Love eating there. Having the Nobu on property too is awesome as well. Lagoon pool is the best and lagoon beach is very relaxing. During Covid-19 the staff was very safety focused and very strict in a good way. Felt very safe there during Covid. Rooms are spacious and the kitchen is very practical. For sure coming back again. ”

Very nice resort, exceptional staff

Overall very good. Accommodations are great. Location is a little outside of downtown Cabo. I would recommend a car. Staff were wonderful. Tipping policy for staff was unclear and we were disappointed to hear that the resort is not forwarding tips directly to the staff. I hope this changes soon. The large lagoon pool is okay”

Incredible Service

We have been going to Cabo for 20 years, and Diamante is a unique experience. What stood out most was the service. From the valet service to the rapid response to any request, their customer service was a notch above anything we have experienced. The resort was also less crowded than other places we have stayed. There wasn't much of a water view, so for our family it was probably a 4 star experience, but if we were golfers it would definitely be a 5 star resort. ”

Spring Cabo Trip

Our stay at Diamante was excellent! Our personal concierge, David, ensured everything was very well organized, before our arrival. Everything from delivered groceries (home made banana bread, tortillas & guacamole), airport transportation and dinner reservation. The staff was impeccable and extremely accommodating. We took a beginner yoga class in the beautiful fitness center, enjoyed the lagoon and the pool, had massages at the spa and played golf. We hope to visit the Diamante again soon! Becky Stevens”
