Coastal midges and mosquitos are a part of life in the South-West, especially at dusk. They are very attracted to inside lights at night.
We recommend keeping doors and windows without screens closed to avoid insects entering the house. The best health advice is to wear long, loose clothing outdoors and use insect repellant.

October 2023Whales, Wildflowers and Walks
Jane was a wonderful host, welcoming, friendly and helpful. The seven days we spent at Bayview, were magical. There were 8 of us aged from 19 to 70. The house accommodated us beautifully with two separate living spaces. Every morning we would gather on the deck overlooking the ocean, watching the whales. The home is positioned beautifully and surrounded by a native reserve. As nature lovers this place is perfect for endless coastal walks and along the native reserve. Eagle Bay beach was a 5-minute stroll, very safe .Downtown Dunsborough 15 minutes away has great cafes, not to mention the many wineries. One of the best holidays I have had. Thanks again Jane.”
