February 2023Get to Parras now!
We loved our stay at Casona Gonzalez and in Parras. We knew it was off-season, and we were a little worried about the weather, but we had no issues and still enjoyed the pool (heated), natural pools within walking distance, and restaurants and wineries around town. We had 16 adults and two dogs in our group. I recommend wine and food at Don Leo, Casa Madero, Las Pudencianas, and La Casona Del Banco. Valeria helped us before the trip and was incredibly helpful, and Victor was the boots on the ground that helped us set up fires, warm up the pool, clean up around the house, watch the dogs while we were away, and more. A local chef, Alan Pena, cooked two meals for us at home, and I highly recommend this! He brought a team that made traditional food and cocktails and accommodated allergies and a couple of vegans in the group. It was a fantastic reunion with friends, and I 10/10 recommend this home in Parras. I hope to go back! ”

January 2023Far Exceeded Expectations! Magical Hacienda in Magical Parras de la Fuente
What a joy to spend time in Parras and in this magnificent Hacienda. Everything was outstanding, from planning support with true insider access, to the daily breakfasts lovingly made to another go-to person who brought us bikes to ride, made us bonfires, set up badminton, pizza oven preparation, and so much more. The host Fabian was terrific and responsive prior to, and during, the stay. And Parras itself did not disappoint -- a magical and deeply authentic place populated by people who are delighted to have visitors. Cannot recommend highly enough. We are eager to return. ”
