August 2022Great location, unique home, a lackluster diamond
We always love to spread good karma and have stayed at lovely properties throughout the world. We had an absolutely fabulous time in Paris in this Matignon Flat which sits in a fantastic location with easy access to everything. The home was advertised as a Condo with 3 levels, but in fact is a single unit located on the 3rd level of the building. That is neither here nor there but perhaps the wording should change to be more precise. The condition of the flat, itself, was not what we would consider 5 star, as there were some physical aspects that can definitely be improved upon. They were noticeable but did not detract from our overall experience. The flat had plenty of linens and towels; showers were the perfect temperature. Windows open during the day gave a cool breeze and when they were closed at night, along with air conditioning, there was sufficient silence lending to wonderful sleep. Know that Christian was, and is, truly a wonderfully gracious host. He spent more than an hour communicating with us in person and was willing to share great information regarding those open restaurants and fun spots to go. We would definitely go there again, but would want to negotiate with the number of keys to get there, based upon the time of year going. The weather was fantastic for us and while you don't go to Paris to stay in a flat, you go to get out! Everything that Christian recommended ,we did and it was a fantastic overall experience. We cannot say enough about Christian! ”

August 2017Great Parisian Flat!
This property is a large one level flat in a excellent location on the same block as the famous Le Bristol Hotel with 2 Michelin starred restaurants (1 star and 3 star). It is very spacious and there is enough room for a family to stay here. The host, Christian, was excellent and easy to communicate with. We had a lovely time here. The property truly is a diamond in the rough. With a few tweaks it would be an unbeatable property. As it is, it was a great flat in a great location. We loved our time here and would return again.”

August 2017Location! Location! Location! Excellent Location!
Had a wonderful vacation in Paris! The Apartment was so centrally located that it made traveling via Foot, Uber, Train and Bus, so very easy and convenient. Christian was a lovely host.....quite funny too. He offered great advice and was easy to communicate with before and during our stay. Most Parisians go on holiday between July and August, so a lot of the places we wanted to try were closed. That said, the apartment was very comfortable. We loved this location and would definitely book this apartment again. We found a great app called Moovit and it was excellent for planning our trip on the Metro or Bus. When buying metro tickets ask for "Une Carnet Billet S'il Plait. It is cheaper than buying individual tickets. Also, if you are in a hurry, it is less expensive to eat or drink at the bar rather than sitting down. Try L'os a Moelle (Cuisine de Chef)....on of my favorite with a set menu.”
