Amazing stay!

What a beautiful property! We never wanted to leave. The house is so beautiful and has absolutely everything you would ever need in a home away from home. Sitting on the porch any time day or night was heavenly. The river access is very easy to navigate for adults and children. Location was close to town so if you wanted to get out, there is great shopping and many local restaurants with awesome food to experience. Will definitely recommend to others and look forward to a time that we can stay again. Oh! and added bonus there are actual fireflies :)”

Magical

This was truly a magical experience!! The lazy spring river, the eclipse with fireflies dancing during the darkest part, and this charming well appointed home. Filled with love you can tell. We used the kayaks in the river and saw large turtles and fish. The bird watching from the back deck was spectacular. I’m so grateful!!”

Ride a Firefly into Wimberly

Our family gathering at Firefly was magical. Contessa W. has her second home perfectly organized for a guest to enjoy and feel at home. The Blonco River is in the backyard and so fun to explore. We went shopping, dining, exploring and to the rodeo and Fourth of July parade in Wimberly!! This was a wonderful stay in a new area of Texas for my family.”

Perfect Luxury Get Away In The TX Hill Country

Firefly is everything good. The location is wonderful and the house feels like a home. It’s packed with all the expected essentials and so many extras. The kitchen and bathrooms are better stocked than my own home! The home decor is comfortable and inviting - and on the banks of the Blanco River. We found ourselves not wanting to leave the property because we were so comfortable. Would love to return to Firefly!”

This river home was a blessing for my family.... First, the hosts are the best! Second, the home it is relaxing and beautifully decorated. Perfect layout. Third, the river.... gorgeous views, relaxing times with a chair in the water, and fun exploring. Finally, Wimberly... cute town with the best snow cones, best breakfast tacos, and two favorite restaurants (Pear and Pizza!) Firefly... we will definitely return one day!!”

Relaxing week by the river

The firefly is the perfect place for a relaxing get away with the kids. It is in the heart of the hill country with a lot to do and see in the area. The house has everything we needed and is well appointed and very comfortable. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. ”

Much more than we expected!

The photos of this home do not do it justice!! This was a renovated, well appointed home with great space for everyone. My family of 5 plus my in laws had plenty of room to rest and relax this summer. Also the river being right on the property was a huge plus. The home is just outside of town, but super close to the quaint little town of Wimberley, Blue Hole, Jacobs Well and more!! We day tripped to fishing holes and Fredericksburg. The host was very responsive and gave some great advice and insight on the local attractions, the area and the home. She was very accommodating. We would love to come back every year!!”

An amazing house and location!

Firefly is a little slice of heaven. The house is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need. The location is perfect. The house is right on a crystal clear river and is only a 5 minute drive to town for dining and shopping. The hosts are great and very helpful. I couldn't think of one negative thing if I tried!
