January 2025Cozy and Rustic with a Great Host
We enjoyed our stay in this Snowcreek condo although the property description isn't entirely accurate (more on that below). It is 40 years old but has been remodeled. The unit feels small compared to the description as the loft is likely suitable only for your children. I wouldn't recommend more than 6 adults stay at one time. The bedrooms on the bottom floor are very comfortable and well appointed. Note that the two bathrooms are both only on the bottom floor. There is no main floor bathroom. The kitchen and living room is on the second floor. The room decor is rustic and a bit dark, but the seating is comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. The wood-burning fireplace is great, though the description of "massive" for the fireplace and television is misleading. The free transit to the resort and other parts of Mammoth is convenient, but the walk to the bus stop to get to the bus stop is more than 10 minutes from the unit, not the 5 minutes claimed in the description. Note that the jacuzzi is shared and a 2-minute walk from the unit. It was clean and functional, but the sauna does not work. Also, only one one side of the barbecue worked properly which wasn't an issue for us, but could impact larger groups. Overall, the unit grew on us during our stay. While cozy and rustic, it is quite functional, has beautiful views, is located next to a peaceful creek, and had everything we needed to feel at home. Melissa was an incredible host. She was very responsive to any needs.”

March 2019Family Ski Vacation
This home was perfect for our first ski trip to Mammoth. The location worked well for us as it is a really short drive to Canyon Lodge and also town. We ate in all meals, so really appreciated the well-stocked kitchen. Communication with the owner, Melissa, was seamless. There was A LOT of snow when we were there, which we enjoyed. I am sure it is equally lovely during other seasons, too.”
