Unbelievable Private Island Experience

We travelled there with 5 couples and 4 kids from ages 5-8. Everyone throughly enjoyed themselves, we decide NOT to leave the island, and enjoy the activities the island provided. We stayed 5 nights, which was perfect! The all inclusive experience was excellent! The food was too notch, although not knowing what you were getting some nights, posed some small dietary changes. ONLY issue was the local alcohol all inclusive wasn’t the greatest.. (I’m not a Rum drinker) YES you could buy top shelf bottles, but I suggest bringing your own. All and all, everyone mentioned, it was one of best experiences of a lifetime and would gladly did it again! The staff was exceptional and super friendly and helpful! Cory Baglien ”

Royal Belize Trip

We took a group of 14 . Oscar was a fabulous host. Joe and the rest of the team Provided everything you could imagine . Most vacations you have to make decisions while visiting. I was able to shut down making decisions for a week and completely recharge. I highly recommend this Island and Staff. If you want a fantastic trip , this is for you. Private relaxation

Ten long time friends enjoyed our stay very much. The staff were terrific, the food perfect, and we really really enjoyed having everything to ourselves. The electricity went out one afternoon and we borrowed a guitar and sang songs around the fire pit for hours while the cocktails kept coming. The generator was fixed in time for dinner but we suggested they turn it off every night so we could escape back in time like that. I highly recommend!”

A Little Bit of Paradise

Thank you to the amazing staff for making our stay on the island memorable. The staff was exceptional, and the chefs were top notch. From day 1 of our arrival until we departed, we were taken care of in every way. The sleeping accommodations were quiet, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast, lunch and dinner every day was delicious. The grounds were clean and well groomed. We snorkeled off the dock and saw many beautiful fish. We watched the nurse shark, rays and starfish from another dock. We took out the sailfish, paddle boards and kayaks. We gathered each night on the west side of the island for sunset to watch the amazing colors. Our family enjoyed the together time. One note: make sure you leave the island at 8:00 to insure time at the airport for connections and checking luggage. ”

Unforgettable Family Vacation

Our stay at Royal Belize was all that we could have hoped for and more. I mean, seriously, having your own island? The room accommodations are excellent with gorgeous views. The meals were wonderful, not only tasty but beautifully presented, and some gave us a taste of local Belizean cuisine. The on-island recreation options were plentiful and a blast, including kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing, fishing, and snorkeling, as well as just hanging by the pool or numerous seaside gazebos. And the evenings were filled with music, daily special cocktails, and beachside movies. The best of all was the staff. They are to a person friendly, kind, and welcoming, and they take pride in the island and in their jobs, and delight in not only meeting but intuiting and exceeding your expectations and wishes. Truly an unforgettable family vacation. We will be back.”

Trip of a lifetime

Wow! We had such a fantastic trip to the Royal Belize. We came for a family reunion and stayed for a week. The island is bigger than I imagined, and the accommodations were very nice. Comfortable beds, big, clean rooms. Our group ranged in age from 9-80 years old and everyone had things to do. For the more adventurous in our group, there was snorkeling/ scuba diving/ fishing. Others just enjoyed their time reading books by the pool or lounging in one of the many hammocks or lounge chairs strategically placed throughout the island. It was small enough that we all could hang together as much as we wanted, but large enough that everyone had space. The island staff are so helpful and kind. Oscar made fantastic island drinks throughout our stay. The food was delicious. They did well accommodating our picky eaters while also providing great variety for the rest of us. Joe flawlessly managed our itinerary each day and had great recommendations for our group. We have been eyeing this property for years, and spent the last 6 months planning for and looking forward to this trip. Even with all the hype, it somehow managed to exceed our expectations. ”

A dream!!

I don’t even think I can truly put into words how incredible this trip was. Not only are the accommodations absolutely beautiful, but the staff takes everything over the top in the best way to ensure you are having the time of your life. The way they cared for our kids is something I will never forget. I think they made more virgin daiquiris for our kids this week than they have probably ever made. Haha! If you have the opportunity to take this trip, do not hesitate. You will never regret it!! It was truly a dream vacation! We will be back! ”

We had such a good time on Royal Belize island. The food was exceptional with 4 courses nightly; the cocktails, wine and endless Belikin were perfect; the accommodations were comfortable, very well kept and up to date; but mostly the staff was incredible and helped make the experience. Royal Belize is the spot!

We booked a week in August with our entire family, and elected to make an excursion off the island every other day. It was a perfect vacation, the staff was attentive to every detail in a friendly and approachable way. They participated with our family in activities when we needed an extra opponent in cornhole, and were quite formidable in their skills at that. I would recommend reaching out for help with anything you may be planning to do off island. They had a representative meet us at the airport in Belize City, when I learned that two of my bags were coming a day later, they took care of ensuring those bags were brought to us the next day, which included getting them from customs, on a small plane, and back to the island by boat. They also took us to the barrier reef, a short boat ride away, and that was truly a highlight of the trip. They arranged a sailing trip in a catamaran that was just fantastic, and we also visited the AMT caves, a Mayan Temple, a local chocolate making facility and the jaguar preserve. Our group had special dietary considerations, and the chef prepared exceptional dishes every single day that satisfied our every need. On most vacations we may devolve into ordering the same fish tacos and fries everyday off the menu, this stay couldn’t have been further from that truth. We had fresh salads, fresh caught seafood, fruits, coconut water from the island and on and on. We used the Hobie Cat daily, we used the paddle boards. We swung in a multitude of hammocks scattered across the island. I cannot recommend this trip enough if you want to have many special moments together with your family and friends. ”

The BEST!

I'm not even sure where to start with how awesome of an experience this is. Selfishly I don't want to tell anyone about it because we want to go again when it becomes available! So many great things but what made it that much more special was the staff on the island. They were AMAZING and so attentive to all of our needs even with 4 kids under the age of 8. We truly feel like they are part of our family after just spending 4 nights there and can't wait to see them again. The views are amazing. The aquatic creatures are amazing. The food amazing. And on and on again but like I said the real MVPs are the folks there doing the work. Thank you so much to Polo, Glenda, Milan, Chris, Marco, Joe, Clifford, Oscar, Chef Patrick and Lucky. Amazing Trip

10 of us (5 adults/5 children 10 and under) travelled to Royal Belize Private Island late February for the week. What a great week on a beautiful, unique property! You can do as little or as much as you would like...there are plenty of opportunities for excursions. We chose to do some reef and fly fishing (they cooked the fresh red snapper we caught), sunset cruising, Thatch Caye boat ride, kayaking and hanging by the beach, Hobie Cat ride, massages (my wife is a massage therapist and was impressed with the quality) and a whole lot of relaxing. The staff was incredible...so accommodating, friendly, they are like one big family. Go hungry...the chefs do an excellent job and will accommodate any dietary restrictions you may have. 3 meals a day, plus a "snack" between breakfast and lunch and "snack" between lunch and dinner. 4-course plated dinners. Chef made a custom gluten free chocolate cake with passion fruit frosting for our friend that was celebrating a birthday on the trip. A comprehensive menu of island cocktails, soda and beer and wine available both in the palapa and throughout the villas. The skinny dip, the island ghost with coconut and dark rum and the rum punch were all favorites. The accommodations are top notch and others have mentioned the beds are VERY comfortable. There are hammocks, chairs and recliners almost everywhere you turn. So many cool nooks to relax and take in the surrounding beauty of Belize. We miss it and hope to return again soon!”

I don’t know where to begin.. amazing in every way!! hospitality 5 ⭐️, accommodation’s 5⭐️, food, activities, spirits 5⭐️if you are lucky enough to book this vacation you will never regret it. Jan was a perfect month!! I only wish we could have stayed longer! Belize city was only a 2.5 hr flight fm Atlanta and w time change we gained an hour that was Sooo nice 😊 We took 13 friends and everyone loved 🥰 this vacation❣️❣️❣️Your own private island 🏝 PARADISE…. Amazing experience!

This was a dream vacation - on a dream island - with dream staff. Everything was truly outstanding here. The accommodations were as pictures/described and the island is just the right size to have some privacy while being able to interact with friends. The staff was really spectacular -- attending to all your needs -- they knew all our names within a day and we knew theirs. The food- oh wow was it fantastic. Can't wait to go back!!! ”

Fantastic

I can't speak high enough about this trip. The island is actually larger than we thought. Lots of space and great lodging for 5 couples. Comfortable beds. We also didn't realize how large the service staff was. It's basically a full service all inclusive report. The chef was also amazing. Meals were a huge highlight of the trip. I would limit the number "excursions" you sign up for off the island, as you really won't want to leave. And it's not an easy place to get to and from. I'll admit the boat ride to and from was a bit bumpy, but we also had some bad weather nearby. Totally worth it. We are probably going to book again next year. ”

What an experience

I can not say enough about this beautiful island and it’s staff. I was there with girlfriends for a week and we were treated like royalty. Do not be concerned about being on an island and not having anything to do and being bored. We boated, fished, went scuba Diving, snorkeled, island hopping, and much more. Chef Patrick and Issac will serve you four course meals for dinner with Polo, Oscar or Edwin giving you a full presentation of what the chef has prepared. Thank you to Bill for offering this amazing experience to Third Home. We would love to return as we felt like we were leaving dear friends behind when saying goodby to the staff. ”

Favorite vacation ever!

Royal Belize is by far the best vacation we have ever taken! We spent 7 nights on the island and could have spent 7 more. The Villas are all so beautifully decorated and the beds were so comfortable. The best spot on the island was the Palapa. It is set in the most perfect spot with a gorgeous view of the sea and a constant breeze that flows right through. The meals prepared by Chef Isaac were absolutely delicious as well as the cocktails make by Oscar and Polo. We enjoyed volleyball games, card games, kayaking, relaxing on hammocks, swinging on swings, playing "king of the raft" and snorkeling and spearfishing around the island. We were so blown away by the beauty and comfort of the island but what really blew us away the most were the staff. Glenda, Oscar, Polo, Isaac, Marco, Milan, Clifford, Chris, Joe and Lucky...you all are the most wonderful people we have ever met. You made us feel like family and we are so grateful to have met you all and hope to be back again! ”

An amazing week of rest and relaxation at its finest

We brought a group our friends together for this trip from PA, NJ, MN, CO, NC, and Montreal. Some came as strangers and left as friends for life. The island resort itself is such a treasure. There are hidden gems everywhere you look. Every corner of the island brings something new and exciting to enjoy. It is such and amazing place to rest and recharge. Whether you want to sit in one of the many hammocks to read a good book, or sunbathe on of the many different beach sections there is something for everyone. The guys enjoys playing volleyball and cornhole. The women loved Jenga every night with wine. The glow in the dark Bocce ball games were the best. Sunset champagne happy hours with the most amazing appetizers made by chef Isaac set us up each evening for the perfect sunset pictures. During the day you could relax on the swing chairs with amazing breezes, snorkel anywhere and see everything, You could spear a little for lobsters and snapper, jet skis were so much fun, or just sit and relax and wait for the next amazing meal to be ready. The staff is so young but so amazing. Oscar and Clyde were our favorites for sure. You never had an Empty glass or they weren’t asking if you needed anything. So happy to please. And it was Clyde’s first week. Chef Isaac was amazing. The lobster and fish dinners were so divine. Our fish tacos were everyone’s favorite lunch! And surf and turf. Don’t even get me started how good. Definitely snorkel or dive the barrier reef. It’s amazing. Thatch cay the sister resort was nice for the afternoon to visit. I wouldn’t recommend the jaguar preserve. It was a total waste of time and money and we saw nothing. Nothing comes out during the day if there even is anything. And guides were older and didn’t want to hike the longer trails. The massages on the island were lovely. Definitely a must. All in all an amazing week experiencing a new island for us. ”

Attention to Detail

This is not a vacation. This is an experience unlike any other. We took five couples and between 10 of us, no one could think of a better travel experience in our lives. The staff is amazing. They make everyone feel incredibly welcome and will position you to feel what 'island life' is all about. The chef is amazing. He smoked barracuda on a Big Green Egg for two hours on the beach - just silly. Every meal is white glove serviced. The villas are all impeccably appointed and serviced every day. The island is groomed and looks like Deer Valley before the first runs. The lighting at night has been carefully positioned and makes the evenings amazing. The attention to detail is stunning. We got to know the staff well and by the end of our experience, everyone felt like family. We also chartered the yacht to fish (where we caught the smoked barracuda), went spearfishing, island hoped, snorkeled the reefs, had couples massages in the cabana at the end of the island, kayaked, paddle boarded, hand fished and made fresh ceviche.... You will not be disappointed!”

Best vacation experience, EVER!

Wow, we were blown away by every aspect of our experience at Royal Belize,Ragged Caye. From the momment the owner accepted our offer, their concierge simply performed an amazing job communicating with us about what to expect, and to ensure our arrival was perfect, and suggested amazing day trips. Once on the island, the accomodations were all 5 stars! Incredible beds/sheets/bath products. The views from all guest rooms were private, opening up cyrstal blue waters, palm trees, and sand. But what made this experience simply over the top, was the attentiveness and training of the staff. They were all so well trained in hospitality, warm, caring, yet not hovering. Every need was anticipated, and answered before we could even ask for anything. We feel we made friends, and loved the island. This is the only 3rd home we would want to return, this time with family...great family experience, or with friends. Plenty to do, we hated leaving. It was like experiencing 'Lifestyles of the Rich and famous', having our own private island for a week; the owners are to be congratulated for creating a wonderful island paradise, exceeding expectations...thanks for the memories. Exceeded Every Expectation!

Lounging, sailing, and swimming around the island was simply idyllic - it could not be better in any way. The beauty is indescribable and we all feel so fortunate to have seen it. The adventures were incredible - from snorkeling, divinest, fishing, island hopping and massages, we all had a fabulous time and everything was first rate, well-planned and executed. The food was amazing and we truly enjoyed the variety and presentation. It was an obvious labor of love! While all of the above-mentioned things made this one of the most exceptional trips for us - the best part of all is the staff! What an amazing group of individuals - they are the reason this trip is beyond compare!”

Fantasy Island Get Away! FOR REAL!!!

My husband and I have traveled a lot over the years and are pretty easy to please for the most part. This trip from the beginning though seemed to be to good to be true and we really did not know what to expect. However, from the moment we came around the curve in the boat to see a staff of about 8 people waving their hands with smiles as big as Texas, we were blown away! We had friends that did not come on the trip because the idea of being trapped on an Island did not seem appealing. I have to admit I was a little worried about getting bored as well. The fact is that we did more together as husband and wife on this trip than any other trip we have ever taken! We rented a very nice boat and went deep sea fishing in the morning catching barracuda and tuna (which the cook later prepared for our meal back at the Island). Then we took the boat to an Island where we had drinks (all included and served by the same staff from the Island that came along with us) Then we went to another Island where we had an included lunch prepared and hung out and listened to music and danced. Then we took the boat to a beautiful spot to snorkel and then headed back to the Island! The accommodations were more luxurious that we expected on an Island. The food was incredible though we never knew what we were having until the moment it was presented by one of the hosts. Every day, all day long the staff was at our beck and call with fresh fruit, veggies, nacho's, tropical drinks, cold water poured fresh into glasses and the list goes on! The staff also taught us how to steer a hobie cat sail boat around the Island, but if you would rather Joe sail it for you and you just enjoy a beer and the water (me! :-) that was fine too! We had a short but fun Volley Ball game right before dinner the first night but decided we all wanted to enjoy the rest of the trip without a broken hip or arm LOL. Without a doubt there is no feeling like having good friends and an Island to yourself with basically a personal butler for each of us for 7 days. We hope to go back soon and will be telling this story for a lifetime! Thank you Joe, Manuel and the rest of the awesome staff that made our trip so awesome!
